Phoslock manufacturing to recommence

It was announced on the ASX platform today that Phoslock is to restart production at the factory in Changxing, China.
Production had previously stopped in 2021 due to a collapse in the China business, which led to a significant increase in inventory levels. Over the following years, inventory has been reduced thanks to continued sales. With this year’s increased deliveries to our key markets, inventory levels are now much lower and need to be replenished.
In preparation for this decision to resume production, over the past six months we have undertaken refurbishment work on the plant and equipment to ensure the manufacturing facility is ready to recommence operation. As a result, we anticipate that production will resume in January 2026.
Initially, the plant will operate on a single shift, with an expected annual production capacity of approximately 3,000 tons. If necessary, the plant can be switched to two shifts to increase production.
